Flavors - Traditionally we make our wedding cakes using golden batter pound cakes. The cost for flavored cake is $2.00 per pound, which is added to the price of the cake. We can make the following flavors of cake which may be used for any tier in a cake. Flavors available: Chocolate pound, Marble pound, Almond flavored, Lemon flavored, Spiced pound. Carrot cakes can be used as the top tier or as satellite cakes around a larger cake.
Fountain - The fountain and separator are available at the rate of $150. The fountain can be used as the base of any size cake that does not have a scalloped base. A suggestion for using the fountain is to have it as the base for a three tier cake, and use satellite cakes to get enough cake for the reception. This way the satellite cakes can be served while the fountain cake remains intact until needed. A $50 refund will be give upon return of the fountain and the complete separator set.
Floating Tiers - We have a floating tier separator that can be used with a three or four tier cake. The cost is $40, and includes a satin base cover and ivy. There is no refund on the floating tier separator.
Custom Decorations - We can produce a large variety of cake designs. With a picture we have a much better idea if we can make the cake you have in mind. Stair case cakes, satellite cakes, and shaped cakes, are all available at an additional charge. Basket weave decorations are $2.00 per pound and shaped cakes are $3.00 per pound, added to the price of the cake. We can match any color if we have a sample to work with.
Rush Jobs - We bake pound cakes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Normally we have 1, 2, and 3 pound cakes on hand all the time. If we need an odd sized pound cake and a Tuesday or Thursday is between the date the order is placed and the due date, then it's not a problem. If a customer needs a large cake in a real rush then we can put together sheet cakes and pound cakes in a variety of ways to produce larger cakes.
Deliveries - Delivery is available for all cakes. Within a 15 mile radius of Mechanicsville, the charge is $50. Deliveries further than 15 miles are charged $3 per additional mile. Maximum delivery is 30 miles. Delivery times will be set on Thursday prior to the wedding by Mr. Williams. This allows for coordination of trips.
Cake Board Deposit - For any cake with an asterisk on the price list, there is a $10 board deposit required for the base. It will be refunded upon return of the board.
Separators - Separators are sold at a cost of $25 per set. This is not a refundable charge. If a customer supplies their own separators the cost is $20 per set.
